Pay: $48–$63/hour (W2 Contract)
Contract: July–November 2025 | Full-Time | 40–60 hrs/week
Work Status: Must be authorized to work in the U.S. (Green Card or US Citizen only)

Job Overview

We’re seeking a Construction Project Supervisor to provide direction for a high-visibility industrial construction project in Louisville, KY. This role requires hands-on oversight to ensure compliance with technical specifications and operate within the timeline and cost constraints on a fast-paced jobsite.

Ideal for construction supervisors or superintendent professionals based in Louisville, Lexington, Cincinnati, Evansville, or within commuting distance.

Key Responsibilities

Construction Planning

  • Manage construction for the given schedules and timelines.
  • Review and interpret construction plans and specifications.
  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders.
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks and issues.
  • A risk analysis of the construction site covering domains SMQDC is formalized; preventive measures and risk management are defined
  • All the tasks necessary for the realization of the construction is defined, organized and assigned.
  • The result in term of deadlines, cost, performance is consistent with expectations
  • A formal assessment of the construction containing the best practices observed and avenues of progress is presented to the project manager (capitalization).

On-Site Supervision

  • Supervise and direct construction crews and subcontractors.
  • Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to quality standards.
  • Conduct regular inspections and quality control checks.
  • Maintain accurate records of project activities, including daily logs and reports.
  • A review with the project manager and stakeholders of construction is carried out regularly (EP applications rules, rules of art, compliance, respect for planning,...)
  • Supervise and direct construction contractor and subcontractors.
  • Validate installation meets technical specifications/drawings
  • Develop solutions to address issues regarding installation/design
  • Witness testing/checks in coordination not related to Mechanical Integrity
  • Acts as owner's representative for any 3rd party testing (beyond Mechanical Integrity)
  • Participates in R1 (PSSR) review prior to introduction of fluids and also participates in pre-commissioning and commissioning activities
  • Develop solutions to issues related to pre-commissioning/commissioning with support from Process Expert and Operations
  • Participates in weekly technical meeting with contractor, ensures minutes are published and action tracking is in place
  • Address questions from contractor and attends all coordination meetings (with contractor, with team)
  • Working with construction manager, safety responsible and other discipline coordinators identify potential conflicts between site and project activities
  • Communicates construction progress to CM/planner daily and supports the Safety Manager in the safe work permitting process
  • Takes delivery of all owner-furnished equipment within discipline and identifies and places equipment in secure storage area suitable for equipment

Safety and Compliance

  • Enforce safety regulations and procedures on the construction site.
  • Ensure compliance with building codes and industry standards.
  • Provide safety training and education to construction workers.
  • Impacts on the persons, environment, and assets are minimized in case of failures or events that occurred during the construction. Interlocutors are informed within the time required. 

Communication and Collaboration

  • Communicate effectively with clients, project managers, and other stakeholders.
  • Resolve conflicts and address concerns promptly.
  • Maintain professional relationships with subcontractors and vendors.
  • Lead the weekly technical meeting for his discipline.
  • Participates in MQP process
  • Review Contractors progress and validates progress reporting in coordination with CM and Planner
  • Review all C/O proposals with CM to initiate approval process; applies forms and defined process

Material and Equipment Management

  • Manage the procurement and delivery of construction materials and equipment.
  • Manages custody transfer of equipment from receipt on-site to transfer to associated contractor for installation
  • Ensure that materials and equipment are available when needed.
  • Monitor inventory levels and manage costs effectively.

Problem Solving

  • Identify and resolve issues that may arise during construction.
  • Develop and implement corrective action plans.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices

Requirements

  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required, with a bachelor's degree in construction management or a related field preferred.
  • 5 years or more of relevant experience in large-scale construction projects, with shutdown activities
  • Strong knowledge of OSHA and construction safety protocols, OSHA 10 or 30 preferred 
  • Must be available for weekends, overtime, and shift coverage as needed

Nice to Have

•    Manufacturing construction background preferred
•    Familiarity with NFPA guidelines 
•    PMP/LEAN certification
