About Our Client

Our client, a leader in the Design and Planning space, has immediate needs for Civil EIT (Engineers in Training) to join their team onsite in Greenville, SC. This full-time, onsite position is perfect for candidates with at least two years of experience working as a civil engineer. This role offers an opportunity to work on a diverse range of civil engineering projects including site grading, stormwater management, and infrastructure design. Compensation is competitive, with a salary range of $50,000–$70,000 based on experience (BOE) and overall fit for the role.

The Civil Engineer EIT will be responsible for assisting with civil engineering design, planning, stormwater management, and other related tasks to support project development. This position is an excellent opportunity for someone eager to grow their career in civil engineering while working on real-world projects from concept to completion.

Key Responsibilities:

•    Assist with civil engineering design, including site grading, utility design, and stormwater management
•    Support the preparation of Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plans (SWPPP) and other environmental compliance documents
•    Perform calculations for stormwater management, pipe hydraulics, and site layout
•    Collaborate with senior engineers to ensure designs meet local, state, and federal regulations
•    Work with AutoCAD Civil 3D and other design software to produce accurate, detailed plans

Must-Haves:

•    Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field
•    Engineer-in-Training (EIT) Certification
•    2+ years of full‑time civil engineering experience in site design or land development
•    Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and familiarity with stormwater modeling tools
•    Working knowledge of grading/earthwork, hydrology/hydraulics, and utility design
•    Familiarity with civil site engineering best practices and municipal permitting workflows
•    Excellent communication skills and ability to work both independently and as part of a team
