Project Manager - Industrial Construction

Location: Louisville, KY (On-site)

Hourly Rate: $45.67 - $62.50 (based on experience)
Equivalent to $95,000 - $130,000 annual salary

 

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to  in Louisville, KY. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in fast-paced environments and has a proven track record of managing complex projects for large-scale construction efforts. 

Candidates must be expereinced in Building construction and able to hande project planning for:

  1. Construction of a 4000 Sqft building with one floor.
  2. Adding Meters (Instruments) to Process lines like Steam, compressed air, etc.
  3. Upgrading a security system at the site level.
  4. Some minor small projects

This contract role requires a minimum of 16 hours to a maximum of 40 hours per week - depending on the project need, and runs from July 2025 through March 2026. The position is fully on-site and open only to U.S. citizens or Green Card holders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • The framework of the Project or Program (including resources definition) is consistent with the objectives assigned by the sponsor and the steering committee.
  • To lead the project, one of the company's project approaches is applied and the appropriated standards are respected (Project sheet, compass, governance, budget management, milestone checklists, GPS …).
  • The project objectives and requirements are satisfied, respecting the 3 components of Quality/Cost/Timing.
  • The cross functional team is managed in accordance with the company's management orientations (including transversal management).
  • Change Management is taken into account and produces the expected results.

What We're Looking For:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or Civil Engineering (or equivalent field experience with proven construction scheduling background)
  • 5+ years of experience in project management in large scale construction of chemical manufacturing or industrial sites
  • Proven success supporting large-scale construction of manufacturing or industrial sites
  • Strong understanding of construction sequencing, field inputs, and milestone tracking
  • Clear communicator with excellent time-management skills and the ability to work on-site full time
