Project Manager - Industrial Construction

Location: Louisville, KY (On-site)

Hourly Rate: $65 - $75 (based on experience)
Equivalent to $135K - $156K annual salary

 

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to  in Louisville, KY. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in fast-paced environments and has a proven track record of managing complex projects for large-scale construction efforts. 

Candidates must be expereinced in Building construction and able to hande project planning for:

  1. Construction of a 4000 Sqft building with one floor.
  2. Adding Meters (Instruments) to Process lines like Steam, compressed air, etc.
  3. Upgrading a security system at the site level.
  4. Some minor small projects

This contract role is for 40 hours per week and runs from now through March 2026. The position is fully on-site and open only to U.S. citizens or Green Card holders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the construction of a new 4,000 sq ft one-floor building
  • Oversee the addition of meters/instruments to utility process lines (e.g., steam, compressed air)
  • Coordinate site-level security system upgrades
  • Lead minor infrastructure and facility-related projects
  • Apply and enforce Group project methodology and standards (e.g., governance, milestone tracking, GPS)
  • Ensure all projects meet Quality/Cost/Timing goals set by the project sponsor and steering committee
  • Manage resources, budget, and stakeholder expectations
  • Collaborate with internal teams and third-party contractors
  • Incorporate change management strategies to ensure smooth execution and adoption
  • Communicate progress, risks, and issues to all stakeholders

What We're Looking For:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or Civil Engineering (or equivalent field experience with proven construction scheduling background)
  • 4-6 or more years of experience in project management in large scale construction.
  • Proven success supporting large-scale industrial construction with brownfield project experience in chemical or industrial manufacturing sites preferred.
  • Strong understanding of construction sequencing, field inputs, and milestone tracking
  • Clear communicator with excellent time-management skills and the ability to work on-site full time
